Hi CTSG

This is from Norris Newmans book "In Zululand" :-

"It was now 4.30pm, and as we were nearing Etshowi, I rode off to the front to get ahead and first into the fort if possible; remembering Col Pearson had made a new road, shortening the way, and avoiding the the vicinity of the Hinza Forest. Profiting from the short cut, I had the pleasure of being the first man of the Column to shake Col Pearson by the hand at the relief of Etshowi."
