Just had the considerable pleasure of watching Ron Locks DVD on isandlwana. Brilliantly done using lots of old footage combined with new. And whats really important for all the forum members that havent yet managed to visit the battlefields, Helicopter fly overs, shows everything from The battlefield down to FD, Mangeni gorge, the whole theatre. I got mine online from the RRW shop. It doesnt add anything in terms of theories etc, but puts everything into context. Watching the shots of the Zulu impi snaking down the ridge is frightening. Mons 14 South Africa is in a different zone to Europe so I think they picked it up from my address, Its well worth buying. As I mentioned more from the aspect that the helicopter shots put everything into scale and perspective. I dont think you will be disapointed. Ive also bought ZULU at the same time, prime viewing tonight, havent seen the movie yet. Younghusband Thats the Royal Regiment of Wales, very efficient for any buys.

In addition to the shop, the RRW have an excellent museum at Brecon including a Zulu war room. Details at http://www.rrw.org.uk/museums/brecon/about.htm
