| If you was given the chance to select one of the Battle's that took place during the Anglo Zulu War, that could be made into a film, Which battle would you choose.

| Not a battle, just an ambush, I'd like to see a decent film about the death of the Prince Imperial.

| Hi Chard. For me it would be the "The Battle of Hlobane" the only problem I could see, is the reconstruction of the retreat down the mountain.
Young Mossop. Played by Daniel Radcliffe. |

| Yeah, Hlobane for me as well!!! As long as it could be portrayed pretty accurately, unlike Zulu or Zulu Dawn!!!!! |

| Ulundi. What a battle scene that would make, the forming of the square. The Gatling guns and the charging of the lancers. Could almost be a scene from Waterloo. |

| Not a Battle. But I would loved to see a film based on the journey of Bertram Mitford after the war. He has already wrote the script, read his book and you will know what I mean.

| Hi all. Would be great to see a movie on Hlobane but I'm with SD . A movie on Mitfords trip would be very , very good as anyone who has read his book would certainly agree . cheers 90th. |

| The only problem with Ulundi is that the battle didn't last that long! The Intombe River ambush could be quite interesting to film, again it would be quite short though. |

| Hi Littlehand . That is the wrong book , the title is ' Through The Zulu Country ' , Mr Greaves if you have the time read it as I'm sure you will enjoy it . It's basically written by Mitford maybe a year or two after the war and he visits the places and talks to those who took part mainly from the zulu side of things . Well written it seems like your there with him ! . Cheers 90th. |
