Looking for information on the 1879 Zulu War Ship S.S. Russia. ( Was this one of the Cunard ships)

Mr G. I think there was only (2) of the Cunard's ship used. Happy to be corrected.
China 1862 1879 Zulu War transport, 1880 sold to Spain renamed Magallanes. Olympus 1860 1872 rebuilt to 2415 tons, 1879 Zulu War transport, 1881 sold to J. & G. Thompson (shipbuilders) in part payment for new ship.
Palmyra 1866 1880-1881 Zulu War Transport, 1896 scrapped. (Later on. Probably bringing troops home.

Yes, the Russia was one of the Cunard ships utilized by the Navy during the Zulu War. The others were China, Olympus and Palmyra.
“Russia” Conveyed the 58th Regiment from England on 26th February to Natal on 4th April 1879. On June 10, 1879 she arrived back at Portsmouth. Among her passengers were 8 invalided or wounded blue jackets. (‘Boadicea’ Phillip Conday & John Hinchley; ‘Shah’ John Hewitt, Robert Colwell, George Perkins, James Bulgar, Edward Bird & Frank Parfitt)
