Hi Littlehand.
I knew I had seen this photo and luckily for me the third book I looked through had it . ' Zulu War - Volunteers , Irregulars & Auxiliaries'
by Ian Castle . Page 39 the caption reads .......... Mehlokazulu kaSihayo escorted into captivity , late August 1879 ; having surrendered at Fort Evelyn he was taken to Ulundi and then to Natal. The Natal Light Horse formed part of this Garrison at Fort Evelyn at this time , so it is possible that the two europeans are from this unit ; most other irregular units had disbanded by this date .
