| Hi Pascal . This has been covered previously on the forum , please try and use the search box.. To answer your question the theory is , if they had M.H'S it wouldn't have been very many as the zulu's who attacked R.Drift were the Reserve . cheers 90th. |

| In fact, the white traders living in Zululand for a long time, had the opportunity to provide, in part, the Zulu royal army in MH ? |

| Hi Rascal . I doubt the traders could afford or even had MH'S before the war , certainly the zulu's couldnt afford anything except the old tower muskets or similar , that is why , they the Zulus had the obsolete weapons , that was all they could afford to buy ! . I'm certain Neil has posted about this previously Cheers 90th |

| Hi Marsupial
Yet with all that I learned this week about guys like Dunn or whoever recovered the horse of Coghill, or others who do not love their compatriots from living among the Zulus, I said may be, without the mercantile spirit, guys like this, may have to be tempted to help Zulu, providing them with BLR or BLC can not be MH, but other types of BLR or BLC as well, it would make sense ...
Cheers Pascal |
