Hi all

Apart warriors married, who can beings, fought in 1856 ...

All others , the warriors unmarried, had never fought in their life before January 1879 ?

The vast majority of Zulu warriors were novices at Isandhlwana ?

Cheers

Pascal

Pascal,

What about those who fought against the amaSwazi?

Cross-border raids were not uncommon during King Cetshwayo's reign.

Or those who fought with the Swazi renegade Mbilini waMswati when he raided into the Transvaal.

These might not be pitched battles, but they were exercises in the art of war.

Cross-border raids Were not uncommon falling on King Cetshwayo's reign.

Very interesting! But not very useful as experience in front of the enemy of 1879 ...Please, you have details?
