The Zulus abandoned and buried many of their warriors on the battlefield and its surroundings (this is well known) and nobody of the british army found one ?

During the first return of the British Army to Isandhlwana nobody tried to see the corpses of the winners ? Bizarre...

There was the odd dead Zulu, but many had been taken off the Battlefield. It was reported that these visiting parties were fired upon, so I guess it was to risky hanging about, looking for dead Zulus.
