If he was at the bombardment of Alexandria it probably means he was Royal Navy or Marines, so Naval Brigade in Zululand and at Majuba?

I am not mistaken there is a C Moore noted on the British Grave site at Khambula ?

Hans Garrett Moore ( also Irish ) is of course the first VC awarded in SA ( Eastern Cape Frontier Wars )

Hi All

There are three M. Moore's listed on the Medal Roll.

One is Michael Moore, 1st 24th - 914. We can rule him out as the information we have on him does not match the article.

We are left with just two now -

Private 3313 M. Moore, 3rd 60th and Drummer 1407 M. Moore, 57th.

I will update you if I find anything out about the above two.
