| Springbok. If possible can you attempt to replicate this photo, (.Dont worry about the wagons and cattle) I sure you will find roughly from where it was originally taken. This image was originally posted by John Young. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And one more if possible? A photo of the cave supposedly where our last of the 24th met his demised. A photo looking up to the cave from the angle the Zulus would have shooting at him. Ps if you have the time a enery. One from the Oscaberg RD across to Isandlwana normal lens to give us some idea of what Witt and co would have seen. |

| Springbok, not sure what type of phone you have, but on the IPhone4 it's possible to take panoramic photos. Start with a fixed point, then just move the camera around until you get back to the starting point. (Hope that makes sense) A panoramic view of the Battlefield roughy from where the Generals tent would have been. Hopefully this would give us some idea of what Col: Pulleine view would have been. |

| Springbok. Could you gaffer tape your camera to you forehead. Then starting from the Generals tent, run the fugitives trail finishing at the point where Lt's Melville & Coghill crossed. Happy for you to do this either on foot or Horseback. If you have time, both. This would show us, the officers on Horseback perspective, and the Soldier on foot.! |

CTSG Done, but without the Gaffer Tape ( What the hell is that anyway? ) Same as above the video is around 300 meg so soon as its feasible I will post. Cheers Cheers |

| Excellent photo. You could have been standing in the original photographs footsteps.
What is that thing sticking out of the ground, to the rear of the Isandlwana plaque. It looks like a tree stump. ?

| Littlehand I'm happy to be corrected but that stump as you put it may well be a memorial to an individual , cant think of the name although ' Archbell '' comes to mind , but as I said happy to be corrected . 90th |

| John as far as I'm aware there is no memorial to Younghusband ! . There is a Cairn where they interred the bodies / bones but I dont ever remember reading of or seeing a memorial to Younghusband ! . Where , or why do you think there is one ? Or are you thinking the Cairn is a Memorial ? . 90th |
