Henry Thomas HUGHES-HALLETT, died 11th July 1909, aged 68 years, born in Malta, Colonel retired, the youngest son of Mary and Edward Knatchbull Hughes-Hallett. Served as a Captain in the 57th (Middlesex) Regiment in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879
Burial: Ta' Braxia Cemetery Pieta Northern Harbour, Malta

A bit more on H-Hallett , in the Foryth Medal his initials are listed as H.F ( obviously incorrect ? ) Entitled to Medal with 1879 Clasp . From Mack & Shad Captain H.T.Hughes-Hallett served with the Regt , throughout the later phases of the war . 90th
