What information do we have on Andrews, Natal Native Pioneers

This is what I have on file.

He survived the Battle of Isandhlwana on the 22nd January 1879. Medal and Clasp '1879'

At the Battle of Ulundi on the 4th of July 1879 he was reported slightly wounded.

Claim of Lieutenant G Andrews, late Natal Native Pioneers to the South African War Medal. (Ref. 1884/2787)
1891 - “DAAG. Application of Lieutenant G F Andrews late Natal Native Pioneers for a South African medal for his
services during the Zulu War.” (Ref. 1891/1277)
George Frederick Andrews died in 1903. (Ref. 2/31)

G.F.Andrews was posted to 1 Co , Native Pioneers , by General order No 220 , 11th Dec 1878 . No 1 Co under the command of Capt Nolan with a strength of 80 men was sent to No 3 Column . A few went out with C'ford . That's all I have , Andrews is listed as an Isandlwana Survivor in Julian's ' Englands' Sons .

Yep, that's all Ive got as well. Absolutly nothing on him at all, the man of mystery.

Wasn't this the chap, who was believed to have been the "Old Soldier" who wrote loads of Newspaper articals.
