| Here's a medal for the enthusiast !!! The suggested bid price is a "come and buy Me" I'd say. Give you hope of a bargain and watch it go through the roof. Listed in Dix Noonan Webb's Auction, 24th/25th this week. Good luck!!! Nitro450. |

| I never pay much attention to the guide price - particularly for SAGS these days. There are some interesting lots in this sale.
There is a nice naval group but most interesting I think is this one
http://www.dnw.co.uk/auctions/catalogue/lot.php?auction_id=353&lot_id=1096&backto=cabinet
The intombi survivor medal to Pte Crawford 80th. Guide £6000-8000 - given the way standard SAGS have been inflated , something as rare as this has to be in the 10k + and possibly much more .
Sadly I shall only watch with interest and with my hands in boxing gloves tied to my chair if Mrs D follows through on her threat !!
Happy bidding !!

| I'll be looking on at Dix Noonan's sale as well. All spent out at present on a Webley WG Revolver retailed by Holland & Holland and a Fraser Single Shot Rook Rifle !! Nitro450. |

| Holy Cow !! If it went that way as I thought it would, up, up, I guessed 20K + but that is amazing !! There must have been almost as big a battle on the Auction floor as the original battlefield!! Nitro450.

| Looks like I've been hoodwinked !! It only brought 7K which I would have thought was reasonable. Oh well, Nitro450. |

| the 40K referred to the Crawford medal. Yes 8-9K after commission is pretty run of the mill for Isandlwana Casualty |

| No worries, I just got my medals a bit crosssed up !! As I've said in the past, I'm not a Medal collector. Just an old rifle collector/shooter with a strong interest in the Campaigns of the Victorian Era. Nitro450. |
