Jeffes Naval Brigade?

I can't find a Jeffe and I'm wondering Tom if this could either be Walter T Jeffry (Jeffrey) from HMS Shah or Stoker Joseph Jeffrey HMS Euphrates.

Certainly not at iSandlwana though or RD for that matter. Suspect

Sergeant Jeffes had an outstanding career with Sydney Police Department for 30 years. He would have been an interesting character to have a beer, or two, with at the local pub. As for his navy career, George Jeffes entered the Royal Navy in 1868 as a Boy 2nd Class and rose in the ranks to Able Seaman before being invalided out of the navy in February 1877. I am afraid his missed out on the Zulu War.
