Hi All,

Could some kind sole help me with some information.

One of my hobbies is painting military miniatures and at the moment I have been concentrating on military drums.

I note that the Welsh museum has a drum picked up from Isandlwana, the photo does not show the device/Emblazonment , just a hint.

If you have a clear photo of the front would you be kind enough to provide a copy, it will be much appreciated.


P.S I have now found a photograph of the 2nd Battalion band in South Africa 1879, The side drum looks different to the example in the museum. Confusion rains![You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
