PostSubject: Re: Private Lloyd 17th Lancers   Private Lloyd 17th Lancers EmptyMon Oct 03, 2022 8:45 am

Hi All,
Difficult this one, cannot find any military records which is surprising for someone who served 37 yrs.
Only record i did find was a William LLoyd 7th Hussars in 1871 stationed at York.
A William LLoyd is buried on 5th Nov 1926 London Rd Cemetery Reading which would fit the newspaper.
As for TM Lloyd 17th Lcrs again no military but looks as if it is Thomas Morgan LLoyd b.1853 Carnarvonshire, he was buried 9 Dec 1924 at Betws Garmon Carnarvonshire Wales.
