Due to recent events on this forum, we have now imposed a zero tolerance to harassment and bullying. All reports will be treated seriously, and will lead to a permanent ban of both membership and IP address.
Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.

We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| Hi All, Frederick Charles Tredgold, attested 7 Aug 1872 age 19, born 1853/54 St Marks Andover Hampshire, batised 28 May 1854 Andover, Corp 1 Aug 1878, to S Africa 25 Feb 1879, Natal 6 April 1879 Landed Bombay 29 Oct 1879, Married Georgina Scott 6 Dec 1888 in Calcutta, son Fred Robert B.14 Sept 1891, to 16 Lncrs 1 Oct 1890, Discharged 7 Aug 1893, 1902 London Gazette F.T. Tredgold late SgtMaj 17 Lcrs to be QM with Temp Rank of Lt Dated 1 Feb 1902. QM 36th Batt Imp Yeo 1899-1902 with note not entitled to Medal. Both Frederick and Georgina Die in Islington District in 1908, her address is different to Frederick's which was 34 Benwell Rd Islington. Both are buried in Unmarked common graves [a number of people buried in the same grave about the same time unrelated] her reference being 71512 Q/3/18980 buried on 30 July 1980 aged 41, his reference 72249 Q/3/19030 being buried on 8 Dec 1908 aged 54.
