| For those of us who live in the 'Kingdom of the Zulus' the choice of a successor will be interesting given the recent rather mysterious death of his eldest son.

| Heard the news from the Major this morning. Very upsetting. I have very fond memories of seeing him in all his regalia on the battlefield for the 140th in 2019 and then showing him round The Houses of Parliament later that year. He was really interested in the history of the AZW and keen to foster good relations with the UK. Very sad indeed. R.I.P. Kate |

| During a 49-year-long reign, he revived festivals celebrating virgin women, was blamed for fuelling deadly xenophobic violence, slammed gay people as 'rotten' and enjoyed a lavish and hedonistic lifestyle in a country where millions live in poverty. Quote from a British paper this morning. but far be it for me to agree and risk the thought police battering down the door. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Local newspapers indicate that there are several possibilities, one of the advantages of having had several wives and many children. The final decision rested with the now dead King, but it might still be a long wait for a public announcement.

| Frank, he seems to be the current favourite. The CV of the next King will provide interesting reading! |
