Due to recent events on this forum, we have now imposed a zero tolerance to harassment and bullying. All reports will be treated seriously, and will lead to a permanent ban of both membership and IP address.
Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.
If any members are being harassed behind the scenes PM facility by any member/s here at 1879zuluwar.com please do not hesitate to forward the offending text.
We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

Privates 45/718 Richard Holmes, 2nd 3rd (East Kent. The Buffs) and 1670 Charles Henry Terry, 90th (Perthshire Volunteers Light Infantry) Regiment did take part in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.
Private 29B/1359 John Arthur Kelk, 58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment, did not take part in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 as he left the Army in 1878.

| Hi All, R Holmes born 1857 Halton Hampshire, 1901 and 1911 census Canterbury married toAnnie 5 children.
Charles H Terry, born Hastings 1858, attested 26 Jan 1877 age 19, to 107th Regt, transferred 90th 5 Jan 1878, arrived Cape 9 Feb 1878, served Zulu War, to Seaforth Highlanders 18 sept 1884, discharged, 28 Jan 1889 12 yrs. The 1901, 1911, 1921, all have two Charles Terry living in Canterbury both born 1858 both born Canterbury, one a Bricklayer the other a Sewage worker. One must be our man. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |
