This is a long article about the opening of the Regimental museum.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Lichfield Mercury - Friday 08 October 1937

There are three Stokes's in the 80th only one has the 1878-79 clasp F Stokes.
Frank Stokes is not listed as an Intombi survivor in Robert Hope's book on the 80th though such a statement as this in the article made at such an event is unlikely to be untrue.
Is this, until now, another unknown Intombi survivor?
