Kate,

Penguin is a town in Tasmania, when Gary’s family arrived there it was still called Van Diemen’s Land.

Yes a town in Tasmania , and I'm not asleep ! hahahahahaha , although I might be ?? . There was a Tasmanian killed at Hlobane , Arthur Dobson FLH mentioned in several books , there are letters from him in Dutton , also at least one other Australian was killed there , Archibald Stewart , also FLH was from South Australia.
