PostSubject: Capt Charles Barrie , City Of Venice that transported Wolsely    Captain Charles Barrie City of Venice that transported Wolseley EmptyFri Sep 30, 2022 2:19 pm

Not quite right , Wolseley was in South Africa before Ulundi , he arrived Durban June 28th , boarded HMS Shah July 1st , arrived Port Durnford July 2nd , tried to land on the 3rd but deemed to dangerous ...unable to land due to the rolling sea conditions , he had to reboard HMS Shah later on the morning of July 3rd , proceeded back to Durban arriving July 4th ( Day Of Ulundi ) .
