Its a little known fact that when the Zulu war was over a chief was appointed to replace Cetshwayo.
As a sign of his position the British presented him with a very large ornatly carved throne, extremelly heavy.
He settled in as regent but soon learned that Cetshwayos supporters planned on stealing his throne.
He sat in his rondavel, grass hut, and pondered.
That night he called his friends together and they managed to stowe the throne into the roof .
However, the sordid bit, during the night it fell down and killed him in his sleep.

Wolsley was informed and commented " People who live in grass houses should not stow thrones'.
A phrase thats gone down in history.

Its a crazy day in Cape Town.
