Parsons, Arthur R, Natal Mounted Police, son of Lieut. Col. J. E. B. Parsons, Bengal Staff Corps, killed in action at Isandula, Zululand, aged 19, Jan 22

further information about Trooper Parsons family background from the Ango-African Who's Who 1905. There is an entry for Parsons' brother, Major Harold Parsons of Southbourne:

son of Major-Gen.
J. E. B. Parsons, Indian Army, who was the
fourth son of the late Lieut. -Gen. J. D. Parsons,
C.B., of the Indian Army, who was great-grandson
of Samuel Parsons, of Powerstown, County Tip-
perary.
