Hi Mr. Greaves.
This from ' Rorkes Drift By Those Who Were There ' by Jones & Stevenson.
Page 26 From Chard's Reort ...... ' It is impossible for one individual to see all , but I particularly myself noticed the behavior
of Col Sgt Bourne , Sgt Williams 24th , Cpl Scheiss NNC , Cpl Lyons 24th , Pvt Mcmahon AHC , Pvt's Roy , Deacon .Bush ,
Cole , Jenkins 24th and many others ' .

Page 64 . Hitch's Report ......'' There was a certain space of about 9 yds where the barricading was uncompleted. It was , of coarse,
the weakest link in the chain , and the zulus were not long in discovering this fact. In this position 8 of us , Bromhead , Nicholls ,
Fagan , Cole , Dalton , Schiess, Williams and myself made a stand , and it was here, I think , the hardest work was done.

page 65.
Hitch goes on describing the conflict and then says .. '' Rush after Rush had been repelled, of the 8 who held the unbarricaded
position only 2 of us were left , Lt. Bromhead and myself . Nicholls , Fagan and Cole were killed , whilst Dalton and Williams were
wounded.
Page 192 . A letter written by Revd George Smith , '' Whilst all behaved so gallantly , it was hardly possible to notice other exceptional instances , although all their comrades bore testimony to such in the conduct of Col Sgt Bourne , Sgt Williams ,
wounded dangerously since dead , Sgt Windridge , Pvt's Mcmahon and Roy.

Page 278 . Casualty Reports 2 / 24th Sgt. T. Williams , Dangerously wounded - Gunshot left side of chest fracturing ribs . Bullet not Lodged .
Page 279. Extract from an unidentified Natal Newspaper c. Jan 79.

2 / 24th Sgt Williams . T. . Dangerously wounded - Bullet Breaking Ribs , No serious injury to Lung .
cheers 90th.
