Sir Henry Norbury served in Africa for some time including during the Zulu War of 1879. The album contains some 200 photographs, but it is not known if any were taken by Norbury personally.

This photograph should likely date from the latter 19th century

I think I posted the sale or auction of his album on here somewhere and I think it was sold through ebay .
