Hi all

When a British imperial infantry company is in close order, in two ranks like Gingindlovu or four ranks like Ulundi, in what ranks were the NCO's, according to their grades? And where in the rank? And the officers they were where?

There are no booklets descriptions of the Rules of deployment of a company ?

Cheers

Pascal the Wink

Ok ,It seem that the Sergeants were behind their sections and the Officers behind the sergeants directing fire or sometimes stationed along the coy from one end to the other.

but the "lance-sergeants - corporals and lances-corporals" in what ranks are they and what places ?
