I have a newspaper cutting with photo's of Surgeon James Henry Reynolds medical kit and tools that
he used during the defence of RD, and it states they went up for sale about 5 years ago.

Anyone know what happened to them ?

Cheers

A HIGHLY EMOTIVE GROUP OF ITEMS PERSONALLY ASSOCIATED WITH SURGEON J.H. REYNOLDS, V.C., OF RORKE'S DRIFT FAME

"A silver medal presented to Reynold's some years later by comrades from the Royal Welch Fusiliers"

Has anyone seen this silver medal.

John
This came up for auction a couple of months ago I was bidding on it but because of a few issues withdrew. It was sold at GBP16000.00 way below its value. I would assume the issues I was appraised of have caused it to be re auctioned.
Pretty sure 90th and Sergio were tapped into the auction as well.

Cheers
