Have to say, incredibly boring on the whole, all too similar to the BS I have to read today. However, a lot of striking similarities to practice many, many, decades ago and now.
Very interesting section on the Geneva convention and the treatment of injured enemy combatants. It is good to see that we have long treated others - or at least have been comitted to doing so, (doesn't really tie in to stories of how enemy were despatched after RD) - how we would wish to be treated ourselves. (Sadly, this is not always the case).
