| Hello all,
I found this in a local charity shop and thought that it deserved better than pulping as it might be of some use to someone so I bought it and have stuck it on ebay.
My late father was a coin and medal dealer and co-wrote a book about the Boer War, I remember how his old shop was full of reference books like this one.
I hope it might be of use to someone on here.
*Just discovered I can't post a link on here yet*
If you go to ebay.co.uk and put in item number 131043865268 then it should be the book, alternatively do a search using "South African War Medal 1877-79 The Medal Roll D.R. Forsyth Hardback Zulu War" and it should come up.
Although the auction says "Collection Only" I'm happy to post it, it's just that I hadn't had a chance to find out how much it'll cost to send. Or you'd be welcome to pick it up from Leytonstone, East London.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules by putting this up on here, I just thought you'd probably be the people most interested in it. If I've put this in the wrong forum then please accept my apologies. |

| Wish I paid 12 quid for one of the 3 editions I have ! . Had to get three as my first one was split in the spine it was the most expensive , then I got another which was in better condition and filled with pencil notations which was the reason I grabbed it , and it was a good price , then I came across a soft cover version which was cheaper again and that is the one I tend to use on most occassions . 90th |

| I'm happy to post it, it's just that ebay wouldn't let me put in the right amount for postage. It'd had limited it to less than it costs to post. If you read to the bottom I do say that I'm happy to post. |
