| Segio A copy was on auction a couple of months back with a reserve of 200US, it didn't sell. I saw another copy in a bookseller in Kalk Bay outside of Cape Town for R1000.00, last time I was there it hadn't sold. Its a coffee table book with some rather nice paintings but nothing of any real historical significance, or earth shattering revelations. Depends how big your coffee table is really. Hope that helps.
Cheers |

| hiya SergioD,springbok,90th, . i have had this for some time, as springbok rightly points out, nothing earth shattering, but the quality of the production is superb, mine is virtually mint likewise the dj, the slipcase i would say very good, i buy the best i can afford, no pub, trips out, ive not been on holliday since 1986, my choice..i'm ruthless in my pursuit of ist ed's on our subject, and as iv'e mentioned before i have most of the ' usual subjects '. SergioD, yes xmas is nearly on top. should you buy this book? it all depends if your seriously intending to build a decent coll- ection. i was so chuffed with mine till JY gently pointed out that clammer copied the text verbatim from his first book, bummer . but hey, its an investment, like all my stuff, when im gone, so the family get a drink on me. . |

| Thanks for the advice guys - I think I will have to look at one before I buy. 90th you are an addict - stay away from ebay and also those medal sales leaves less competition for me. Xhosa - I hear you - for me it is the medals - the books are for my education and enjoyment - although I have started to become quite acquisitive recently.. Passion and collecting is an expensive combination Cheers Sergio |
