nice one impi, not read that for a while!
those who know me on here, will know i
share the same view's as the author.
Divide and Rule..we were past master's!
i was challenged when i called Frere a
maverick zealot, that was my opinion..
if you know this subject? i would look
forward to counter argument's, that is
your take on annexation,confederation,
Carnavon,Frere, Shepstone!.. i discount
Hick-Beach..was it all for Mineral wealth,
or our there still some who think it was for
the salvation ultimately of Natal and the
better governance of the Zulu People..

I am not a radical anything, i enjoy all
aspects of the AZW. but serious politic's
are another important strand to better
understanding.
