Here's a shot of the cemetery in question at Blaenavon. Not surprised they can't find anything.

Because it seems that no headstone was ever placed on the grave, the main problem is that the actual location of the plot has been lost due to the lack of churchyard records; I did contact the local council three or four years ago to see if some kind of memorial could be erected to William Osborne but although they were interested the funding issue was a problem.

Also, it wouldn't be easy (or even possible) to erect a plaque on the church wall because of the complicated regulations surrounding such buildings.

Hopefully the newspaper article may start some local interest in getting something done, or even jog a few memories as to where William was buried...
