K I L L I C K , THOMAS ALEXANDER ( 1 8 5 3 - 2 4 / 6 / 1 9 0 6 )
"Born in 1853 he qualified MRCVS (Edinburgh) in 1878. In 1879 he saw service with his regiment in Natal in the Zulu War being attached to General Crealock's coastal column (with MF Healy). He subsequently published papers on Horsesickness (Vet Journal Vols XI and XII). He originally arrived in Natal abroad the "City of Venice" with the reinforcement column. He died on 24/6/1906 at Shorncliffe."

He landed at Durban on 29th March 1879 on board ‘City of Venice’.

He became Veterinary Surgeon on 30th October 1878.
South African War - 1879 - Zulu Campaign. Medal with Clasp.
Source ‘1884 Army List’ (p 1005 & 1309)
