| Lt A.W.Collings 2 / 21st RSF , Collings joined the Batt early April at Pietermaritzburg and was then at Ft Newdigate . This info from Mac & Shad , Fort Newdigate was also known as Fort Funk due to the troops opening fire one night at nothing , or no-one ! . I think it happened in early June , one of the 2/ 21st Sgts was Court Martialled & demoted , he also received a prison sentence which I think was either lessened or commuted ? , happy to be corrected , it's mentioned here on the Forum . 90th |
