PostSubject: Placing charges   New March Letters and diary from the zulu war 1879 EmptyThu Apr 05, 2018 8:41 am

Hi Admin

Thanks for posting a most interesting first hand account.
I was intrigued by the report concerning placing defensive explosives charges around Fort Ekowe, then setting up an electrical ringmain to fire the charges remotely. Perhaps an ancestor of the Claymore principle.  Some technology for the time!.

regards
