Due to recent events on this forum, we have now imposed a zero tolerance to harassment and bullying. All reports will be treated seriously, and will lead to a permanent ban of both membership and IP address.
Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.
If any members are being harassed behind the scenes PM facility by any member/s here at 1879zuluwar.com please do not hesitate to forward the offending text.
We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| If he died aged 29 in 1915 he wasn't Born until 1886 ? , 7 yrs after the Zulu War ! , pretty safe to say he wasn't there ? 90th |

| Hi All, According to the CWGC site Frank Hayter,s Father was John B F Hayter of Strawberry Hill London. John Bishop Francis Hayter b.Lambeth 1848-50, 1861 Census St Mary's Lambeth. John Hayter b.24 May 1850 baptised 14 Aug 1850 Christchurch Bermondsey, Lambeth. John Hayter enlisted 14 sept 1867 age 19 b.Lambeth b.c 1848. No.1133 17 Lcrs, 1871 Longford Ireland, 18 Dec 1878 At Hounslow when he married Barbara Mulraney., to S Africa 25 Feb 1879 then to uk and India 14 Dec 1880. Discharged 11 Dec 1888 in India with a final discharge at Gosport when he arrived back in the UK. Rai KLH |

| Hi all, More on John Hayter, 1901 census address 4 Brookville Road Fulham he is a widow b.1850 with 3 kids 1 born in India 1888, Hotel Hall Porter. 1911 census address 355 Sandycombe Road Kew he is a lodger working for Coways Engineering Works, 1912 he marries a second time aged 62 to 35 year old Mary Amy King at St Luke's Richmond. He probably dies in 1918 in Brentford District London. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |
