I found this book on Google Books, and thought it worthwhile. I think it was published in 1884.

It covers several wars from The Perak War through the Soudan. There is a good section on the Zulu War that begins with Chapter XXVIII and ends with Chapter XLIV (pages 195 through 314.) Included are several illustrations and maps.

The book can be read in its entirety on-line or downloaded.
