Hi everyone

The soles are currently located in the South African Museum of Military History (renamed the Ditsong National Museum of Military History in 2010) which has quite a lot of interesting items relating toi the AZW.

Hi Bill
I'm out touring the Battlefields again in April 2012. Where is this museum? I'd like to pop in there and take a look.

Hi Warrior3

The Johannesburg War museum is in a suburb on the eastern side of Johannesburg called Saxonwold. It is accessible from Jan Smuts Higway.

Hi
Many thanks to You, Bill, and Barry. I landed in J'burg in April this year and drove down. But, next year it's Durban, so I won't be able to visit the museum. Dammit, I'll have to go back again in 2013! Shame!
