Dear All
Just became a member of the forum & researching / looking for images of any of the nurses which took part in the Zulu War I would like to share this info with you all.
I see theres images of Mrs Deebles, Edith King, Annie Crisp, Emma Durham now we can add Joan Gary to the list: rcnarchive.rcn.org.uk/.../page428-volume015-14thdecembe
The image is not very clear but it's a start & theres a nice write up about her.

If any body can assist with further images I would be truly grateful.

Shackleton, welcome to the forum. Thanks for bringing Nurse Grey to light, I had never her of her until now. I did try the link, but didn't work. Here's something posted by forum member 1879 Graves, this nurse had her day in court!

Hi Dave thanks for the info, I've tried to attach details from my Mac but unable to recognised the file even by PDF, I could always send by email.

Details: The Nursing Records & Hospital Would, Dec 14th 1895 - Page 428.

Shackleton. There are quite a few of us interested in the Nurses that served during the Zulu War, so thanks for a great introduction. Are you able to take a screen shot of the information and post it as an image.

Here's what we already have.
