Dear All Just became a member of the forum & researching / looking for images of any of the nurses which took part in the Zulu War I would like to share this info with you all. I see theres images of Mrs Deebles, Edith King, Annie Crisp, Emma Durham now we can add Joan Gary to the list: rcnarchive.rcn.org.uk/.../page428-volume015-14thdecembe The image is not very clear but it's a start & theres a nice write up about her.
If any body can assist with further images I would be truly grateful. Shackles
Shackleton, welcome to the forum. Thanks for bringing Nurse Grey to light, I had never her of her until now. I did try the link, but didn't work. Here's something posted by forum member 1879 Graves, this nurse had her day in court!
