So you mean the Bechuanaland Border Police.

There is a description of the uniform on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in an article written by Major G. Tylden.

Also see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] But that certainly isn’t Fred Carrington in the article.

Cheers John for those articles. I agree that isn't fred Carrington in the picture! The photo I have which I can't upload, one chap is in shirtsleeves and the other appears to be in a blue/dark tunic with riding breeches and riding boots. Which doesn't match with the description in the Tylden article.
