Hi All

Does anyone know what William Jomes is talking about when he says "I sent home the burnt cross that was defaced by Fire"?

HI graves.
To me it seems he is talking about his Victoria Cross decoration itself which may have been in a house fire ?. Possibly attempting
to get a replacement medal .
cheers 90th.

Hi springbok9

I would love to follow up, but I have to find out what he is talking about.

It does look like 90th is correct and is talking about a Victoria Cross

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Why does he state "clear me of this false charge" What charge and Why?

I need to find out more !!!
