I'll try to dig it out but I do recall coming across a newspaper article describing how Arthur Howard had been surprised to learn that he had died in Australia!

Have a look at www.SPINK.COM. Type in Gunner Arthur Howard 2077. It gives you his full account of what he went through, true or not? Includes pictures and a map of the hispital.
Supposed to have been a patient in the same room as Pte Adams
