Evening Express and Evening Mail Thursday November 26th 1903.

Rorke's Drift Hero at
The Police Court

During the hearing of summonses at Swansea Police Court on Tuesday against parents for not sending their children to school it transpired that David Jenkins, Brynmelyn-street , who appeared as defendant, was one of the heroes at Rorke's Drift.
Mr J.W. Jones (to defendant): when the king came down to Swansea he shook hands with you and complimented you, you are a good soldier, what do you want at the Police Court.
An attendance order was made.
