Ernest Glanville was the correspondent for the “London Daily Chronicle” and “London Times”

| Hi Ulundi . Russell and Granville certainly wouldnt have got a medal , Norris Newman who was with them throughout the war I'm certain didnt get one either , Forbes or Prior , not sure which one , rode from Ulundi to send off the news of the victory certainly asked to be entitled to the medal , but as LC stated he didnt carry any official dispatches he wasnt entitled to the award .
