Heres one for the Sherlock Holmes members.
Im trying to trace any mention of Jack Grant, came out from scotland at the age of 16 as a drummer boy, either at the end of the Zulu War or beginning of the Boer War. He was at some point stationed in Aliwall North. Not a lot to go on but Im seen the forum members do more on less.
Any ideas guys?

cheers

Hi Springbok9

Many thanks, I have made a start but not a lot to go on, so will have to get back to you when I find something.

Salute
