Hi All,
Another difficult one only military record is for John Reader Royal Navy Sick Berth Attendent HMS Iron Duke on the 1881 Census. But no Reader's on any RN ship medal Rolls.
His death is registered in Ashford District Kent [includes Tenterden] Aug Qtr 1951. This gives a birth date of circa 1852/53, I find a birth in Gravesend in 1853. 1901 census Hoo Kent, b.1852 Gravesend Labourer at HM Magazine. 1911 still Hoo Kent b.1852 Cobham Kent, Labourer HM Magazine, 1921 address Maidstone Kent, 1939 John Reader b.2 Aug 1853 Pensioner, address Staplehurst Maidstone Kent.
