Our Durban letter - The model of the proposed statue to the late Prince Imperial has arrived here in a very shattered condition. It represents the Prince mounted in his artillery uniform and shading his eyes with his hand.
Was this ever built? I can't remember ever seeing such a statue. |

| Not sure I've seen one either ? , I've been around many places in Durban and don't remember it . I'll ask Brandyne 90th  |

| I think if one reads the report it says a 'model' had arrived. Not a statue, so possible because the 'model' was so badly damaged the actual statue was never commisioned.
Just a thought |
