I can't find anything on this chap. But Rupert Lonsdale was a member of the same regiment, maybe he mentions Greaves somewhere. Just out of interest how many survived from the 3rd N.N.C

hi all.
From J. Whybra"s book , " England"s Sons ". 1ST BATT 3RD NNC - 3 Officer"s and 3 NCO's .
The surviving Officers were , Lt and Adj Higginson , Adendorff , Vaines . The NCO survivors were
a SGT- MAJ Williams along with the other 2 who are anonymous .

2ND BATT 3RD NNC.
No Officers or NCO"s survived .

As for the african troops in the contingent , due to incomplete records there is no way of verifying a
list of survivors . Hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me if there is a list of those that survived? Isandlwana. There a list of those that perished but not of those that survived. Any information welcome.
