In your book you quote from a letter, and the source note given is

"Longhurst to Edward Durnford, 20 Aug. 1882."


I've tried everywhere but have found no infomation regarding this letter, the RE museum who have
Longhurst other letter haven't heard of this one. Can you let me know were a copy of it can be found ?
